Michigan High School Basketball - Huron can't hold off Airport

The Airport Jets basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the visiting Huron Chiefs to 41 in the Jets league victory on Friday.
The Jets now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riverview for a Huron contest on Monday, January 29. Airport will battle a Pirates team coming off a 54-52 non-league win over Flat Rock (Flat Rock, MI). The Pirates record now stands at 10-2.
The Chiefs (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Milan (Milan, MI). The Big Reds come into the Huron contest with a 3-8 record. In their last contest, Milan was nudged by Grosse Ile (Grosse Ile, MI), 43-41, in a league contest.
