North Carolina High School Basketball - A.L. Brown thwarted by Hickory Ridge

The A.L. Brown Wonders basketball team (Kannapolis, NC), dropped 59-45 in Friday's league battle with the host Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls (Harrisburg, NC)

The Ragin' Bulls now possess a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mooresville for a 4A Greater Metro battle on Tuesday, January 30. Hickory Ridge will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 60-16 league loss to Cox Mill (Concord, NC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-15.

The Wonders (10-9) will now prepare for their battle against Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC). The Wildcats come into the 4A Greater Metro battle with a 16-1 record. In their last battle, Lake Norman beat Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC), 59-53, in a league battle.
