With the victory, Alcona improves its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Tigers host Whittemore-Prescott (Whittemore, MI) to confront the Cardinals in a North Star battle on Monday, January 29. The Cardinals come into the battle with a record of 0-8.

The Patriots (0-9) will now prepare for their battle against Rogers City (Rogers City, MI). The Hurons come into the non-league battle with a 6-2 record.
