Michigan High School Basketball - Algonac overwhelmed by Imlay City

The Imlay City Spartans basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the visiting Algonac Muskrats to 25 in the Spartans league victory on Friday.
The Spartans now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Branch for a Blue Water Area contest on Tuesday, January 30. Imlay City will battle a Broncos team coming off a 49-37 league loss to Croswell-Lexington (Croswell, MI). The Broncos record now stands at 6-7.
The Muskrats (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Richmond (Richmond, MI). The Blue Devils come into the Blue Water Area contest with a 3-9 record. In their last contest, Richmond was routed by Yale (Yale, MI), 36-26, in a league contest.
