The Northwestern Tigers basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Ashland Oredockers to 32 in the Tigers league victory on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cumberland for a Heart O'North contest on Monday, January 29. Northwestern will battle a Beavers team coming off a 59-48 league loss to Chetek-Weyerhaeuser (Chetek, WI). The Beavers record now stands at 0-17.

The Oredockers (3-13) will now prepare for their contest against Cameron (Cameron, WI). The Comets come into the Heart O'North contest with a 11-4 record. In their last contest, Cameron triumphed over Hayward (Hayward, WI), 47-42, in a league contest.
