In Friday's league outing, the Winters Blizzards (Winters, TX) basketball squad edged the visiting Bangs Dragons (Bangs, TX), by a margin of 32-29.
The Blizzards (10-18) will now prepare for their outing against Miles (Miles, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 2A Region I District 8 outing with a 21-7 record. In their last outing, Miles held off Roscoe (Roscoe, TX), 49-44, in a league outing.
The Dragons now own a 13-16 record. They play next when they host Coleman for a 2A Region I District 8 outing on Tuesday, January 30. Bangs will clash with a Bluecats squad coming off a 43-35 league win over Colorado (Colorado City, TX). The Bluecats record now stands at 13-9.
