Illinois High School Basketball - Beardstown can't hold off West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs]

The West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] Cougars basketball team scored 35 points and restricted the host Beardstown Tigers to 29 in the Cougars non-league victory on Friday.
The Cougars now sport a 13-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jersey for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 27. West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] will battle a Panthers team coming off a 64-47 non-league win over Nokomis (Nokomis, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 16-10.
The Tigers (11-14) will now prepare for their contest against Mendon Unity (Mendon, IL). The Mustangs come into the West Central - South contest with a 15-11 record. In their last contest, Mendon Unity edged Liberty (Liberty, IL), 42-17, in a league contest.
