Big Sandy Wildcats (Dallardsville, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Evadale Rebels (Evadale, TX), 43-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Big Sandy upgrades its record to 11-7 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Deweyville (Deweyville, TX) to confront the Pirates in a 2A Region IV District 25 challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 10-16.

Next up, the Rebels confront the West Hardin Oilers (Saratoga, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 25 challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Evadale will attempt to improve on its 19-11 season record.
