The Canyon Eagles (Canyon, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Borger Bulldogs (Borger, TX), 79-23 in Friday's league test.

The Eagles (17-6) will now prepare for their test against Randall (Amarillo, TX). The Raiders go into the 4A Region I District 4 test with a 17-8 record. In their last test, Randall was trounced by West Plains (Amarillo, TX), 57-54, in a league test.

The Bulldogs now own a 12-14 record. They play next when they host Pampa for a 4A Region I District 4 test on Tuesday, January 30. Borger will encounter a Harvesters squad coming off a 59-42 league win over Perryton (Perryton, TX). The Harvesters record now stands at 18-11.
