The Briarfield Academy Rebels basketball team (Lake Providence, LA), was overwhelmed 44-23 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Riverdale Academy Rebels (Coushatta, LA)

The Rebels now possess a 17-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Side Christian for a non-league battle on Monday, January 29. Riverdale Academy will battle a Warriors team coming off a 58-29 non-league win over Hermitage (Hermitage, AR). The Warriors record now stands at 17-4.

The Rebels (16-5) will now prepare for their battle against Porter's Chapel Academy (Vicksburg, MS). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 4-0 record. In their last battle, Porter's Chapel Academy trounced Hillcrest Christian (Jackson, MS), 68-30, in a league battle.
