Broadwater Academy Vikings (Exmore, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Portsmouth Christian Patriots (Portsmouth, VA), 47-42 in a league bout.
With the win, Broadwater Academy upgrades its record to 7-8 on the season. The Vikings travel to Denbigh Baptist Christian (Newport News, VA) to clash with the Minutemen in a VISAA Division IV bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Minutemen go into the bout with a record of 7-7.
With the defeat, Portsmouth Christian moves to 2-13 on the year. The Patriots travel to Isle of Wight Academy (Isle of Wight, VA) to face the Chargers in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 30. The Chargers enter the game with a record of 8-2. Isle of Wight Academy won 52-16 in their recent non-league game against Broadwater Academy (Exmore, VA)
