Terrell Academy Eagles (Dawson, GA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Brookwood Warriors (Thomasville, GA), 51-36 in a league bout.

With the victory, Terrell Academy upgrades its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Eagles host Southland Academy (Americus, GA) to play the Raiders in a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 3 bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 6-12. Southland Academy lost 39-32 in their recent league bout against Tiftarea Academy (Chula, GA)

Next up, the Warriors play the Deerfield-Windsor Knights (Albany, GA) in a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 3 bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Brookwood will attempt to upgrade on its 14-4 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 16-5 record after their 66-40 non-league win over John Milledge Academy (Milledgeville, GA).
