Bryan County Redskins (Pembroke, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Screven County Gamecocks (Sylvania, GA), 51-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Bryan County upgrades its record to 17-3 on the season. The Redskins travel to Wheeler County (Alamo, GA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 1-15. Wheeler County lost 50-43 in their recent league bout against Telfair County (McRae, GA)

Next up, the Gamecocks clash with the Savannah Bluejackets (Savannah, GA) in a A D1 Region 3 bout, on Saturday, January 27. Screven County will attempt to upgrade on its 14-5 season record. The Bluejackets go into the bout with a 9-7 record after their 46-30 league win over Claxton (Claxton, GA).
