The Byng Pirates basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the visiting Dickson Comets to 49 in the Pirates league victory on Friday.
The Pirates now sport a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lone Grove for a Lake Country contest on Tuesday, January 30. Byng will battle a Longhorns team coming off a 52-32 league win over Madill (Madill, OK). The Longhorns record now stands at 9-7.
The Comets (4-12) will now prepare for their contest against Madill (Madill, OK). The Wildcats come into the Lake Country contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, Madill was defeated by Lone Grove (Lone Grove, OK), 52-32, in a league contest.
