The Calamus-Wheatland Warriors basketball team scored 75 points and held the visiting Prince of Peace Prep Irish to 7 in the Warriors league triumph on Friday.
The Warriors now sport a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tipton for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 27. Calamus-Wheatland will battle a Tigers team coming off a 51-39 league win over Durant (Durant, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 11-4.
The Irish (1-15) will now prepare for their contest against Starmont (Arlington, IA). The Stars enter the non-league contest with a 1-16 record. In their last contest, Starmont was routed by Springville (Springville, IA), 68-27, in a league contest.
