Calvary Day Cavaliers (Savannah, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Johnson Atomsmashers (Savannah, GA), 52-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Calvary Day upgrades its record to 14-4 on the season. The Cavaliers host Beach (Savannah, GA) to play the Bulldogs in a AAA Region 3 bout on Saturday, January 27. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 8-10. Beach won 44-29 in their recent league bout against Savannah Christian (Savannah, GA)

Next up, the Atomsmashers play the Beach Bulldogs (Savannah, GA) in a AAA Region 3 bout, on Friday, February 2. Johnson will attempt to upgrade on its 12-7 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 9-11 record after their 37-33 league win over Liberty County (Hinesville, GA).
