Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Calvin Cougars (Calvin, LA) and the host Central Panthers (Jonesville, LA), saw Calvin's basketball squad wallop Central by a count of 62-16.

With the victory, Calvin upgrades its record to 16-13 on the campaign. The Cougars host Georgetown (Georgetown, LA) to play the Bulldogs in a C District 2 challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 6-20. Georgetown won 34-30 in their recent league challenge against Dodson (Dodson, LA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Saline Bobcats (Saline, LA) in a C District 2 challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record.
