Dalhart Wolves (Dalhart, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Canadian Wildcats (Canadian, TX), 34-30 in a league bout.

With the win, Dalhart upgrades its record to 15-7 on the season. The Wolves host Spearman (Spearman, TX) to play the Lynx in a 3A Region I District 1 bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Lynx go into the bout with a record of 21-5. Spearman won 70-22 in their recent league bout against River Road (Amarillo, TX)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Tulia Hornets (Tulia, TX) in a 3A Region I District 1 bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Canadian will attempt to upgrade on its 11-6 season record.
