With the victory, Central Davidson upgrades its record to 13-6 on the campaign. The Spartans host Asheboro (Asheboro, NC) to play the Blue Comets in a 3A Mid-Piedmont challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Blue Comets come into the challenge with a record of 3-14. Asheboro lost 63-48 in their recent league challenge against Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC)

Next up, the Panthers play the Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC) in a 3A Mid-Piedmont challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Ledford will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Timberwolves come into the challenge with a 12-2 record after their 58-47 league win over North Davidson (Lexington, NC).
