The Danville Bears (Danville, IA) basketball crushed the host Central Lee Hawks (Donnellson, IA), 70-30 in Friday's non-league test.

The Bears (11-4) will now prepare for their test against Holy Trinity Catholic (Fort Madison, IA). The Crusaders go into the SEI - West test with a 15-2 record. In their last test, Holy Trinity Catholic walloped Van Buren County (Keosauqua, IA), 56-25, in a non-league test.

The Hawks now own a 5-10 record. They play next when they travel to Keokuk for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 27. Central Lee will clash with a Chiefs squad coming off a 74-27 league win over Fairfield (Fairfield, IA). The Chiefs record now stands at 15-1.
