In Friday's league outing, the Union Christian Academy Lions (Farmerville, LA) basketball squad felled the visiting Central School Pioneers (Grand Cane, LA), by a margin of 37-18.
The Lions (1-7) will now prepare for their outing against Riverdale Academy (Coushatta, LA). The Rebels go into the MAIS 2A District 4 outing with a 17-3 record. In their last outing, Riverdale Academy was beaten by West Side Christian (El Dorado, AR), 58-57, in a non-league outing.
The Pioneers now own a 2-16 record. They play next when they host Northeast Baptist for a MAIS 2A District 4 outing on Tuesday, January 30. Central School will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 57-2 league loss to Claiborne Academy (Haynesville, LA). The Knights record now stands at 0-12.
