Maryland High School Basketball - Winters Mill knocked off by Century

The Century Knights basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Winters Mill Falcons to 42 in the Knights league triumph on Friday.
The Knights now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Francis Scott Key for a Carroll County contest on Tuesday, January 30. Century will meet a Eagles team coming off a 52-50 non-league loss to St. Mary's Ryken (Leonardtown, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 9-5.
The Falcons (0-11) will now prepare for their contest against Liberty (Sykesville, MD). The Lions enter the Carroll County contest with a 4-12 record. In their last contest, Liberty was defeated by Francis Scott Key (Union Bridge, MD), 48-38, in a league contest.
