Clarke County Bulldogs (Grove Hill, AL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Chickasaw Chieftains (Chickasaw, AL), 52-32 in a league bout.

With the win, Clarke County upgrades its record to 11-12 on the season. The Bulldogs host Thomasville (Thomasville, AL) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 27. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 6-11.

Next up, the Chieftains play the Satsuma Gators (Satsuma, AL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 29. Chickasaw will attempt to upgrade on its 2-14 season record. The Gators go into the bout with a 3-13 record after their 29-18 non-league win over Fruitdale (Fruitdale, AL).
