California High School Basketball - Cleveland nips Taft

January 26, 2024: Reseda, CA 91335

Cleveland Cavaliers (Reseda, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Taft Toreadors (Woodland Hills, CA), 35-31 in a league bout.

With the win, Cleveland upgrades its record to 11-12 on the season. The Cavaliers host Granada Hills Charter (Granada Hills, CA) to play the Highlanders in a West Valley bout on Monday, January 29. The Highlanders go into the bout with a record of 15-9. Granada Hills Charter won 62-47 in their recent league bout against Chatsworth (Chatsworth, CA)

Next up, the Toreadors play the Birmingham Patriots (Lake Balboa, CA) in a West Valley bout, on Monday, January 29. Taft will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 18-6 record after their 61-30 league win over El Camino Real (Woodland Hills, CA).
