The Wesleyan Christian Mustangs basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Copan Hornets to 27 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now sport a 4-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Foyil for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 30. Wesleyan Christian will meet a Panthers team coming off a 48-33 non-league loss to South Coffeyville (South Coffeyville, OK). The Panthers record now stands at 10-8.

The Hornets (6-14) will now prepare for their contest against Barnsdall (Barnsdall, OK). The Panthers enter the Northern Oklahoma contest with a 9-7 record. In their last contest, Barnsdall triumphed over Bluejacket (Bluejacket, OK), 61-35, in a non-league contest.
