North Carolina High School Basketball - Corvian Community nudges Langtree Charter

In Friday's league outing, the Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC) basketball squad edged the host Langtree Charter Lions (Mooresville, NC), by a count of 31-28.

The Cardinals (5-12) will now prepare for their outing against Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC). The Spartans go into the 1A/2A Catawba Shores outing with a 17-1 record. In their last outing, Community School of Davidson held off Lincoln Charter (Denver, NC), 44-42, in a league outing.

The Lions now hold a 4-17 record. They play next when they travel to Lincoln Charter for a 1A/2A Catawba Shores outing on Tuesday, January 30. Langtree Charter will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 44-42 league loss to Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 12-5.
