Imbler Panthers (Imbler, OR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Cove Leopards (Cove, OR), 67-18 in a league bout.

With the win, Imbler upgrades its record to 17-5 on the season. The Panthers host Wallowa (Wallowa, OR) to clash with the Cougars in a 1A Old Oregon bout on Saturday, January 27. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 13-7. Wallowa won 41-29 in their recent league bout against Joseph (Joseph, OR)

Next up, the Leopards clash with the Wallowa Cougars (Wallowa, OR) in a 1A Old Oregon bout, on Thursday, February 1. Cove will attempt to upgrade on its 4-22 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 13-8 record after their 39-34 league loss to Imbler (Imbler, OR).
