The Crosby-Ironton Rangers basketball team scored 77 points and held the host Staples-Motley Cardinals to 47 in the Rangers league triumph on Friday.
The Rangers now sport a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Providence Academy for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 30. Crosby-Ironton will meet a Lions team coming off a 74-48 non-league loss to Minnetonka (Minnetonka, MN). The Lions record now stands at 16-3.
The Cardinals (4-13) will now prepare for their contest against Pelican Rapids (Pelican Rapids, MN). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 16-2 record. In their last contest, Pelican Rapids triumphed over Breckenridge (Breckenridge, MN), 54-38, in a non-league contest.
