Montana High School Basketball - Havre can't hold off Custer County

The Custer County Cowboys basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the host Havre Blue Ponies to 43 in the Cowboys league victory on Friday.
The Cowboys now sport a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Baker for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 30. Custer County will battle a Spartans team coming off a 98-23 league win over Lame Deer (Lame Deer, MT). The Spartans record now stands at 11-2.
The Blue Ponies (8-2) will now prepare for their contest against Billings Central Catholic (Billings, MT). The Rams come into the non-league contest with a 9-1 record. In their last contest, Billings Central Catholic edged Lockwood (Billings, MT), 71-59, in a league contest.
