Decatur Seahawks (Berlin, MD) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Snow Hill Eagles (Snow Hill, MD), 58-52 in a league bout.

With the victory, Decatur upgrades its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Seahawks host St. Andrew's Episcopal (Potomac, MD) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 27. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 10-4. St. Andrew's Episcopal lost 57-44 in their recent league bout against Potomac School (McLean, VA)

Next up, the Eagles play the Bennett Clippers (Salisbury, MD) in a Bayside - South bout, on Monday, January 29. Snow Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Clippers come into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 59-16 league loss to Parkside (Salisbury, MD).
