DeWitt Panthers (DeWitt, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Waverly Warriors (Lansing, MI), 57-32 in a league bout.

With the win, DeWitt upgrades its record to 11-3 on the season. The Panthers host Holt (Holt, MI) to play the Rams in a Capital Area - Blue bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 8-4. Holt won 59-47 in their recent league bout against East Lansing (East Lansing, MI)

Next up, the Warriors play the Everett Vikings (Lansing, MI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Waverly will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 1-7 record after their 50-16 non-league loss to Grand Ledge (Grand Ledge, MI).
