The High Plains Storm basketball team (Polk, NE), was toppled 35-20 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Dorchester Longhorns (Dorchester, NE)

The Longhorns now possess a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Butler for a non-league battle on Monday, January 29. Dorchester will confront a Tigers team coming off a 61-25 non-league loss to Meridian (Daykin, NE). The Tigers record now stands at 6-9.

The Storm (8-6) will now prepare for their battle against Elba (Elba, NE). The Bluejays come into the non-league battle with a 3-9 record. In their last battle, Elba beat Harvard (Harvard, NE), 39-31, in a non-league battle.
