Dowling Catholic Maroons (West Des Moines, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Southeast Polk Rams (Pleasant Hill, IA), 75-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Dowling Catholic upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Maroons host Ames (Ames, IA) to play the Little Cyclones in a Central Iowa Metro - Central bout on Saturday, February 3. The Little Cyclones go into the bout with a record of 8-7.

Next up, the Rams play the Lincoln Railsplitters (Des Moines, IA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 29. Southeast Polk will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Railsplitters go into the bout with a 3-7 record after their 58-16 non-league loss to Urbandale (Urbandale, IA).
