Northeast Guilford Rams (McLeansville, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Eastern Guilford Wildcats (Gibsonville, NC), 46-29 in a league bout.

With the victory, Northeast Guilford upgrades its record to 8-8 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Southern Guilford (Greensboro, NC) to play the Storm in a 3A Mid-State bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Storm come into the bout with a record of 5-13. Southern Guilford lost 59-37 in their recent league bout against Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC)

Next up, the Wildcats play the High Point Central Bison (High Point, NC) in a 3A Mid-State bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Eastern Guilford will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record. The Bison come into the bout with a 0-17 record after their 51-15 league loss to Dudley (Greensboro, NC).
