The Eden Valley-Watkins Eagles basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Paynesville Bulldogs to 46 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now have a 6-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Osakis for a non-league match on Saturday, January 27. Eden Valley-Watkins will face a Silverstreaks team coming off a 39-38 non-league win over Upsala (Upsala, MN). The Silverstreaks record now stands at 8-9.

With the defeat, Paynesville moves to 9-11 on the year. The Bulldogs host Holdingford (Holdingford, MN) to face the Huskers in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 30. The Huskers enter the match with a record of 15-3. Holdingford won 72-43 in their recent non-league match against Maple Lake (Maple Lake, MN)
