The E.E. Smith Golden Bulls basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Triton Hawks to 54 in the Golden Bulls league triumph on Friday.
The Golden Bulls now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Overhills for a 3A/4A All-American contest on Tuesday, January 30. E.E. Smith will meet a Jaguars team coming off a 68-49 league loss to Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC). The Jaguars record now stands at 8-7.
The Hawks (11-7) will now prepare for their contest against Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC). The Bulldogs enter the 3A/4A All-American contest with a 12-5 record. In their last contest, Terry Sanford was nudged by Quality Education Academy (Winston-Salem, NC), 53-46, in a non-league contest.
