Prospect Knights (Mt. Prospect, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Elk Grove Grenadiers (Elk Grove Village, IL), 69-31 in a league bout.

With the win, Prospect upgrades its record to 18-10 on the season. The Knights host Maine South (Park Ridge, IL) to clash with the Hawks in a non-league bout on Monday, January 29. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 24-1. Maine South won 64-55 in their recent league bout against Evanston (Evanston, IL)

Next up, the Grenadiers clash with the Rolling Meadows Mustangs (Rolling Meadows, IL) in a Mid-Suburban - East bout, on Wednesday, January 31. Elk Grove will attempt to move on its 6-20 season record. The Mustangs enter the game with a 19-7 record after their 63-22 league win over Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove, IL).
