The Fairhope Pirates basketball team (Fairhope, AL), was nudged 41-39 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Foley Lions (Foley, AL)
The Lions now possess a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Orange Beach for a non-league battle on Monday, January 29. Foley will battle a Makos team coming off a 55-47 league loss to Bayside Academy (Daphne, AL). The Makos record now stands at 14-14.
The Pirates (12-13) will now prepare for their battle against Vigor (Prichard, AL). The Wolves come into the non-league battle with a 13-12 record. In their last battle, Vigor edged LeFlore (Mobile, AL), 66-51, in a league battle.
