Georgia High School Basketball - Stratford Academy knocked off by First Presbyterian Day

The First Presbyterian Day Vikings basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Stratford Academy Eagles to 39 in the Vikings league triumph on Friday.

The Vikings now sport a 19-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host John Milledge Academy for a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 6 contest on Tuesday, January 30. First Presbyterian Day will play a Trojans squad coming off a 66-40 non-league loss to Deerfield-Windsor (Albany, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 13-3.

Next up, the Eagles play the Mount de Sales Academy Cavaliers (Macon, GA) in a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 6 challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Stratford Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 8-11 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 1-13 record after their 66-36 league loss to First Presbyterian Day (Macon, GA).
