The Northside Vikings basketball team (Roanoke, VA), was overwhelmed 63-18 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Fleming Colonels (Roanoke, VA)
The Colonels now possess a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lord Botetourt for a Blue Ridge battle on Tuesday, January 30. Fleming will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 63-21 league win over William Byrd (Vinton, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 16-2.
The Vikings (4-14) will now prepare for their battle against Staunton River (Moneta, VA). The Golden Eagles come into the Blue Ridge battle with a 8-11 record. In their last battle, Staunton River was overwhelmed by Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA), 63-35, in a league battle.
