The Fort Bend Kempner Cougars basketball team (Sugar Land, TX), was overwhelmed 72-23 in Friday's league battle with the host Fort Bend Willowridge Eagles (Houston, TX)
The Eagles now possess a 24-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fulshear for a 5A Region III District 20 battle on Tuesday, January 30. Fort Bend Willowridge will confront a Chargers team coming off a 69-59 league loss to Randle (Richmond, TX). The Chargers record now stands at 22-6.
The Cougars (6-22) will now prepare for their battle against Foster (Richmond, TX). The Falcons come into the 5A Region III District 20 battle with a 18-13 record. In their last battle, Foster trounced Fort Bend Marshall (Missouri City, TX), 41-35, in a league battle.
