Virginia High School Basketball - Franklin tipped by Windsor

The Windsor Dukes basketball team scored 41 points and held the visiting Franklin Broncos to 36 in the Dukes league triumph on Friday.
The Dukes now sport a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mecklenburg County for a non-league contest on Monday, January 29. Windsor will meet a Phoenix team coming off a 58-48 non-league loss to Brunswick (Lawrenceville, VA). The Phoenix record now stands at 9-7.
The Broncos (4-15) will now prepare for their contest against Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 13-1 record. In their last contest, Nansemond River nudged Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA), 49-26, in a league contest.
