The Giddings Buffaloes basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Smithville Tigers to 51 in the Buffaloes league victory on Friday.
The Buffaloes now sport a 11-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Taylor for a 4A Region III District 22 contest on Tuesday, January 30. Giddings will battle a Ducks team coming off a 52-38 league win over La Grange (La Grange, TX). The Ducks record now stands at 17-7.
The Tigers (13-12) will now prepare for their contest against Austin Achieve (Austin, TX). The Polar Bears come into the 4A Region III District 22 contest with a 2-19 record.
