Glen Lake Lakers (Maple City, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Onekama Portagers (Onekama, MI), 77-51 in a league bout.

With the win, Glen Lake upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Lakers host Benzie Central (Benzonia, MI) to clash with the Huskies in a Northwest bout on Wednesday, January 31. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 7-4. Benzie Central won 63-23 in their recent league bout against Suttons Bay (Suttons Bay, MI)

Next up, the Portagers clash with the Frankfort Panthers (Frankfort, MI) in a Northwest bout, on Wednesday, January 31. Onekama will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 9-3 record after their 42-28 league win over Buckley (Buckley, MI).
