In Friday's league outing, the Glenbard West Hilltoppers (Glen Ellyn, IL) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Proviso West Panthers (Hillside, IL), by a margin of 61-35.

The Hilltoppers (22-5) will now prepare for their outing against St. Francis (Wheaton, IL). The Spartans go into the non-league outing with a 15-10 record. In their last outing, St. Francis was trounced by Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn, IL), 45-42, in a non-league outing.

The Panthers now own a 5-13 record. They play next when they host Proviso East for a non-league outing on Monday, January 29. Proviso West will clash with a Pirates squad coming off a 51-42 non-league loss to Oak Park-River Forest (Oak Park, IL). The Pirates record now stands at 9-13.
