Fans at Friday's league battle between the Saugus Centurions (Saugus, CA) and the visiting Golden Valley Grizzlies (Santa Clarita, CA), saw Saugus's basketball team achieve victory over Golden Valley by a tally of 52-39.

The Centurions now possess a 17-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Fernando for a non-league battle on Monday, January 29. Saugus will confront a Tigers team coming off a 52-45 league loss to Sylmar (Sylmar, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 10-11.

The Grizzlies (5-17) will now prepare for their battle against Valencia (Valencia, CA). The Vikings come into the Foothill battle with a 10-16 record. In their last battle, Valencia was toppled by Canyon (Canyon Country, CA), 60-47, in a league battle.
