The Nelson basketball team scored 75 points and held the visiting Gresham Gophers to 25 in the league triumph on Friday.

The now sport a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central Catholic for a 6A Mt. Hood contest on Monday, January 29. Nelson will play a Rams squad coming off a 65-22 league win over Sandy (Sandy, OR). The Rams record now stands at 6-9.

Next up, the Gophers play the Reynolds Raiders (Troutdale, OR) in a 6A Mt. Hood challenge, on Monday, January 29. Gresham will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 0-15 record after their 76-14 league loss to David Douglas (Portland, OR).
