Oregon High School Basketball - Griswold overwhelmed by Nixyaawii Community

The Nixyaawii Community Eagles basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the visiting Griswold Grizzlies to 18 in the Eagles league victory on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Echo for a 1A Old Oregon contest on Saturday, January 27. Nixyaawii Community will battle a Cougars team coming off a 60-23 league win over Pilot Rock (Pilot Rock, OR). The Cougars record now stands at 13-4.
The Grizzlies (1-9) will now prepare for their contest against Elgin (Elgin, OR). The Huskies come into the 1A Old Oregon contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, Elgin was routed by Union (Union, OR), 44-18, in a league contest.
