Texas High School Basketball - Gunter crushes Leonard

Gunter Tigers (Gunter, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Leonard Tigers (Leonard, TX), 63-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Gunter upgrades its record to 17-13 on the season. The Tigers host Howe (Howe, TX) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 3A Region II District 11 bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 17-11. Howe lost 46-36 in their recent league bout against Bells (Bells, TX)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Blue Ridge Tigers (Blue Ridge, TX) in a 3A Region II District 11 bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Leonard will attempt to upgrade on its 17-14 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 11-19 record after their 60-31 league loss to Gunter (Gunter, TX).
