With the victory, Slidell upgrades its record to 16-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host Ponchatoula (Ponchatoula, LA) to play the Green Wave in a 5A District 6 challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Green Wave come into the challenge with a record of 18-12. Ponchatoula lost 72-65 in their recent league challenge against Mandeville (Mandeville, LA)

Next up, the Tornadoes play the Covington Lions (Covington, LA) in a 5A District 6 challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Hammond will attempt to upgrade on its 12-12 season record.
